The Electronic Somali Sports Federation (ESSF), founded in 2021, aims to develop esports in Somalia. Its mission is to help Somali athletes compete successfully in local and international tournaments while promoting integrity and sportsmanship.

The WORLD PHYGITAL COMMUNITY (WPC), is a non-profit and non-commercial organization established in 2023 and headquartered in Hong Kong unites pioneers of global phygital sports.
ESSF has been an official member of WPC since October 2024. The WPC member countries can be found on the official website.
